Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain cellulose acetate yarn improved in colorability, excellent in dark dyeability especially in black, comprising a cellulose acetate containing >=a specific amount of polybutylene glycol as a constituent component. CONSTITUTION:This cellulose acetate yarn comprises a cellulose acetate containing 1-20wt.%, preferably 5-20wt.% of polybutylene glycol as a constituent component. The polybutylene glycol satisfies preferably 600-1,000 molecular weight (Mw) and <=14,000 of the molecular weight X the content (%).
