Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of vibration and noise owing to expansion and contraction of a piston in a closing region wherein a cylinder is not communicate with both a suction port and a delivery port. CONSTITUTION:Oil introduction holes 4 and 3 communicated with closing regions on the piston bottom dead center side and the top dead center side, respectively, and a communication passage 5 through which the oil introduction holes 4 and 3 are interconnected is provided. A piston pump comprises an on-off valve 6 to disconnect a communication passage in which a closing pressure on the bottom dead center side is made approximately equal to the delivery pressure of a pump; an accumulator 7 to accumulate surplus oil fed through the oil introduction hole 4 on the bottom dead center side through the on-off valve 6: and a check valve 8 to allow only a flow of pressure oil from the accumulator 7 to the oil introduction hole 3 on the top dead center side.
