Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a bleaching agent composition containing an alkali metal hypochlorite, storable over a long period even under a severe condition without causing the decomposition of an alkali metal hypochlorite, having excellent storage stability and viscosity characteristics and exhibiting high cleaning and bleaching power and safety. CONSTITUTION:This bleaching agent composition contains (a) 0.1-13wt.% of an alkali metal hypochlorite, (b) 0.01-20wt.% of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether carboxylate, (c) 0.1-10wt.% of a straight-chain alkylbenzenesulfonic acid salt having a 8-20C alkyl group and/or a straight-chain alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid salt having a 8-20C alkyl group and (d) 0.1-5wt.% of an alkaline agent.
