Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the woodwind instrument large in loudness and superior in sound quality by mounting and fixing a sound hole bush, which has a sound hole formed in the center of a bush and has the end part of the sound hole rounded small on the side of the top surface of the joint body and large on the side of the internal hole. CONSTITUTION:The sound hole bush 1 is mounted and fixed in a bush mount hole 12 formed at the sound hole position of the joint body 11 of the woodwind instrument, and then the air vibration generated in the joint body internal hole 14 is released to the outside air through the sound hole 2 of the sound hole bush 2. Further, when the sound hole 2 of the sound hole bush 1 is rounded small on the joint body surface side as shown by 3 and large on the internal hole end side as shown by 3', the corner part of the sound hole which does not vibrate projects into the intensely vibrating air, thereby reducing such a phenomenon that the air vibration is disordered. Consequently, the air vibration can smoothly and efficiently be released to the outside air through the sound hole 2.
