CONSTITUTION:The bottom face part 9a in the wheel chamber 9 of a casing 2 to be fitted with a worm wheel 8 is formed on the substantially beveled outer face having inclining cross-section bulging more toward the boss part 9b projecting a pinion shaft 10 with respect to the corresponding part on the outer periphery of the worm wheel 8. A first radial reinforcing rib 9c and a second arcuate rib 9d perpendicularly intersecting the first rib 9c are formed on the inner face at the bottom part 9a. A groove part defined by the first and second ribs 9c, 9d is filled with grease.
