Summary:PURPOSE:To produce a thin raised fabric having a surface excellent in surface touch of fine fluffs and crimps although it is a fabric woven from synthetic fiber filaments, exhibiting a satisfactorily strong tearing strength and excellent in soft touch. CONSTITUTION:The characteristics of this thin raised fabric having crimps are as follows; This fabric is woven by using a primary twist-untwisted false twisted yarn composed of a composite yarn of polyester multifilament yarns having <=0.2d single yarn fineness and multifilament yarns having >=1d single yarn fineness as the weft yarn. The polyester multifilament yarn having <=0.2 denier single yarn fineness has fine fluffs mainly having a loop shape on the fabric surface.
