PURPOSE:To provide precisely a targetted pattern to a designated position of the surface of FRP, by a method wherein an inorganic fiber base is either pressure-contacted or made to stick to one side of a patterned prepreg sheet, a press molding material is put on an inorganic fiber base side and molding is performed by performing heating and pressurizing. CONSTITUTION:A patterned prepreg sheet 6 is cut into a disired size. An organic fiber base 7 is put in piles on a fixed position of a bottom force 9 to which a peeling agent is applied so that the surface to which the organic fiber base 7 is either pressure-contacted or stuck becomes a press molded material side such as SMC 8 or BMC. Then heating and pressure molding are performed and simultaneously with the cure of the molding material, the sheet is made to harden. Since the sheet is made to stick to a press molding material and made to unify, through which an FRP molded product having a pattern on the surface can be obtained. Hereby, unevenness on the surface of a molding tool can be made larger than that by convensional technique excepting that freedom to pressure or a temperature at the time of press molding becomes higher, through which it becomes possible to impart high-quality feeling.
