Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a porcelain composition for a dielectric resonator useful for downsizing a communication apparatus, having a large dielectric constant as well as high no-load Q, and having tauf capable of being controlled in the vicinity of 0ppm/ deg.C. CONSTITUTION:A porcelain composition for a dielectric resonator of which composition range is 0.05<=x<=0.625, 0<=y<=0.8, 0<=z<=0.5, 0<w<=0.75, 0.95<=x+y+z+w<=1.1 is made of a composite perovskite compound expressed by a chemical formula (BaxSryCazPbw)(BI1/3BII2/3)O3 where BI site comprises bivalent ion while BII site comprises pentavalent ion. The feature of the composite is such that in the A site of the perovskite type structure at least Ba, Sr or Ca and lead is solution treated and when the amount is in the above range, a dielectric resonator material is provided in which tauf is capable of being controlled in the vicinity of 0ppm/ deg.C.
