Summary:PURPOSE:To realize a coolant extracting apparatus capable of extracting coolant from a water inlet of a radiator easily with simpler construction. CONSTITUTION:An extracting pipe is provided which is shaped to be inserted into a water inlet 10 of a radiator 1 for affording communication through a plurality of heat conductive tubes between upper and lower tank, 4, 3 provided with the water inlet 10 and constitutes a water passage having the tip part 15a joined in the air tight manner to the upper tank side end of the heat conductive tube to be continued to the heat conductive tube. Thus, the extracting pipe 15 is inserted from the water inlet 10 into the radiator 1 to be attached to the end of the heat conductive tube. When a suction force is applied to the extracting pipe 15, the heat conductive tube is united with the extracting pipe 15 to constitute a water passage so that coolant in the lower tank 3 is seqentially sucked from the lower end of the heat conductive tube to be extracted to the outside of the radiator 1.
