Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a peroral pharmaceutical preparation, containing ultrafine powder of a specific phosphonic acid diester derivative as an active ingredient, having stable and high bioavailability and useful as a pharmaceutical preparation for treating hyperlipemia. CONSTITUTION:This pharmaceutical preparation contains ultrafine powder (preferably having <=5mum average particle diameter measured by a microscopic image processor) of a diphosphonic acid diester derivative expressed by the formula (R is a lower alkyl; X is a halogen) {preferably diethyl 4-[(4-bromo-2- cyanophenyl)carbamoyl]benzylphosphonate} as an active ingredient. A powder, a fine granule, a granule, a capsule, a tablet, a syrup, etc., are cited as the form and the daily dose thereof is preferably 0.05-80mg/kg.
