PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a mold from deforming and breaking by a method wherein an imitation rock mold consisting of a flexible inner mold, which assumes the shape of a natural rock, and a rigid outer mold is put into a steel plate box-like from so as to fill the outside of the outer mold with sand and the inside of the inner mold with color concrete. CONSTITUTION:An inner mold 2 is formed by applying a liquid green rubber on the surface of a natural rock, for example, laying a reinforcing loose fabric on the green rubber and further applying the green rubber by the proper thickness and, after the rubber solidifies, stripping from the natural rock. An outer mold 3 is formed by blowing a fiber reinforced plastic by the proper thickness against the surface of the inner mold 2. Further, a box-like form 4 is made of a steel plate and formed by decomposably assembling a large number of unit steel plates 7. Outside an imitation rock mold 1 consisting of the inner mold 2 and the outer mold 3, the box-like form 4 is assembled so as to extensively support the outside of the outer mold with the box- -like form 4 through sand under the condition that the imitation rock mold 1 is put in the box-like form 4 in order to fill the inside of the inner mold 2 with color concrete through a filling port 6.
