Summary:PURPOSE:To attain a data process faster than real time correction by transferring the regenerated data to a real time correction part and a buffer, and outputting the data stored in the buffer when no error correction exists. CONSTITUTION:The data 1 regenerated and demodulated from a magneto-optical disk are transferred to the real time correction part 2 and the buffer 3 by the control of a control part 7. A transfer time to the buffer 3 is shorter than a correction time in the correction part 2. The correction part 2 performs the error detection and the error correction of the input data to input the correction result output to a decision process part 4. When no error correction, the data stored in the buffer 3 are outputted, and the data in the correction part 2 are abandoned. On the other hand, when an error exists in the data, the data corrected by the correction part 2 are transferred to the buffer 3 to be outputted.
