PURPOSE:To dissolve anxiety for the sake of health and safety of an operator executing the inspection and repairing work of the inner wall of a reaction tower and the like, and shorten a time required for the inspection and repairing work. CONSTITUTION:This wall inspection operating device 1 is provided with a guide tool 3 along the outer edge of a supporting body 2 which expands by injecting gas therein and increases its volume into a prescribed size, and a movable body 4 moving along the guide tool 3. The movable body 4 is connected to a placing base 11 movable in one body with the body 4, and a small-sized lightweight camera 12 and an operation device 13 for operating a repairing work and the like are installed on the placing base 11. Hereby, the inspection and repairing work of the inner wall of a reaction tower and the like can be executed by the camera 12 and the operation device 13 actuated by receiving an operation signal from the outward, and hence anxiety for the sake of health and safety of an operator can be dissolved. In addition, it can be executed without setting up scaffolding, and hence a time required for inspection and repairing work can be shortened.
