Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a paper discharge device capable of resolving the fluttering of the printing paper without requiring a paper suppressing fan, preventing the damage of the printing paper, improve the quality of the printing paper, and operating a paper sheet printing device at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:The printing paper 4 printed by a printing plate cylinder 1 and an impression cylinder 2 is delivered to a paper discharge cylinder 3 from the impression cylinder 2 and held and conveyed by a chain gripper 7 on a circulating endless chain 5 side, and a shielding plate 18 covers the front face of a claw shaft 12 and claws 14 and is extended in the direction of a lower paper guide 10. A sliding cover 21 made of a flexible plastic plate stuck to the end section back face on the opposite side to the claw shaft 12 of the shielding plate 18 is brought into slide contact with the lower paper guide 10, it is folded into an L-shape, and no gap is made between it and the lower paper guide 10. No air current is infiltrated between the traveling printing paper 4 and the lower paper guide 10, the fluttering of the printing paper 4 is resolved, and a paper sheet printing machine can be operated at a high speed.
