Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the intracular pressure-reducing agent containing a compound represented by the specified formula, having an excellent intracular pressure-reducing effect, low in stimulation to the eyes, excellent in the safety and useful for high intracular pressure disease, glaucoma, etc. CONSTITUTION:This intracular pressure-reducing agent contains the compound of the formula, 2,6-bis(diethanolamino)-4,8-dipiperidino-pyrimide(5,6-d)pyrimidine or its pharmaceutically permissible salt. In addition, the concentration of this compound is 0.00005 to 0.5W/V% and the dosage form is preferably local administration preparation, especially preferably eye drops.
