Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a new cyclic amine derivative having strong and highly highly selective anti-acetylcholine esterase activity and effective in the treatment or prophylaxis of a disease of central nervous system. CONSTITUTION:This is a compound of formula l [J is a phenyl, a pyridyl, a cyclohexyl, an indanyl, an indanonyl, an indenyl, formula II, a lower alkyl, etc.; B is formula III to formula VI [R is H or methyl; R is H, a lower alkyl, an acyl, a phenyl, a benzyl, etc.; R is H, a lower alkyl or a phenyl; (n)=0-10], etc.; T is N or C; Q is N, C or N O; K is H, a phenyl, an arylalkyl, a cinnamyl, a lower alkyl, a pyridinemethyl, a cycloal-kylalkyl, an acyl, etc.; (q)=1-3] or its pharmaceutically allowable salt, e.g. l-benzyl-4-[(5,6-dimethoxy-1- indanone)-2-yl]methylpiperidine. A compound of formula I in which B is a group of formula VI is obtained by reacting an acid halide of formula VII with a cyclic amine derivative of formula VIII.
