PURPOSE:To simplify the fitting/removal of a plate having a metal case to and from a metal frame and to facilitate the exchanging work even in the high temp. after casting by forming a projection of the metal case so as to be fittable to the recessed part of the metal frame and forming a specific gap to the fitting. CONSTITUTION:The gap for the fitting between the projected part 6 of the plate and the recessed part 10a of the metal frame, is formed so as to be 0.1-1.0mm to the sliding direction of the plate, in order to synchronize the plate with the movement of the metal frame 11 at the time of sliding. However, in order to simplify the fitting/removal, the high accurate fitting is adopted only to the sliding direction in the positional direction being important at the time of casting, and a rather play is given in the right angle direction to the sliding direction. Therefore, as the fitting/removal of the fixing plate or the sliding plate for sliding nozzle device to the fixing metal frame or the sliding metal frame can easily be performed by manual means or mechanical means, the exchanging work of the plate can easily be performed in any case of the cold state and the hot state.
