Summary:PURPOSE:To increase a preventive effect of a sliding noise in a facing up part by applying grease of low oil separating degree at a high temperature to the sliding part of case, gear, etc., in a device for electrically connecting fixed and movable bodies through a flat cable. CONSTITUTION:In a steering device for an automobile, in the case of transmitting a signal between a steering wheel side and a body side of the automobile, a cable reel of storing a tape electric wire (flat cable) 5 in a spring shape in a housing, provided with inner and outer cylinders 1, 2, is used, to absorb rotation of the steering wheel by winding the tape electric wire 5 tightened and loosened. In the cable reel thus obtained, grease of pure fluorine, silicone and fluorosilicone, with high base oil viscosity (500cst or more) at an ordinary temperature and low oil separating degree (3% or less) at a high temperature, is applied to a sliding part of case, gear, etc., of the inner/outer cylinders. In this way, a sliding noise can be decreased.
