Summary:PURPOSE:To effectively and efficiently perform the removal treatment of org. matter and nitrogen in org. waste water. CONSTITUTION:An aerobic process aerating org. waste water 7a by air 30a in such a state that fine solid particle groups 8... having aerobic bacteria and facultative anaerobic bacteria supported thereon are arranged in the stagnation area 71 of org. waste water 7a to completely hold the waste water stagnation area 71 to an aerobic state and a microaerophilic process aerating org. waste water 7a by air 30b rich in nitrogen to hold the waste water stagnation area 71 to a microaerophilic state almost becoming an anaerobic state excepting the area 73 around an aeration place are provided. Both processes are alternately repeated while a circulation stream 30 due to aeration is formed in the waste water stagnation area 71 and org. waste water 7a is supplied to the waste water stagnation area 71 only at the time of the microaerophilic process in both processes to simultaneously remove org. matter and nitrogen from org. waste water.
