Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity and cyan image density by incorporating a specified cyan coupler in at least one of emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:The color photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support and at least one of the emulsion layers contains the cyan coupler represented by formula I in which R1 is alkyl, aryl, or a heterocyclic group: X is a group substitutable on the benzene ring: l is 1 or 2, and when l is 2, each of plural X may be same or different; Y is a substitutable group represented by formula II: and R2 is >=2C straight or branched optionally substituted alkyl. As the support, paper laminated with polyethylene or the like, a polyethylene-terephthalate film, baryta paper, cellulose triacetate, and the like are used.
