Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the engine stop, and to prevent the generation of smoke in an overload operation area of an engine by accurately adjusting a lack pin at the torque-up position for regulation. CONSTITUTION:A torque-up device 10 is interposed between a weight side lever 1a and a spring side lever 1b of a centrifugal governor G. This torque-up device 10 is provided with a cylindrical case main body 11, a torque pin 12 projected from the tip of the cylindrical case main body 11 freely to go forward/backward, a torque spring 13 for pushing to energize a base end flange part 12a of the torque pin 12 to the projecting side, a spring receiver 15 for receiving the rear end of the torque spring 13, and a pin adjuster 14 passing through the spring receiver 15 and for receiving the base end flange part 12a of the torque pin 12. Length of the torque pin 12 is set larger than the torque-up metering area Lb, and the pin adjuster 14 is moved in advance/retreat to adjust the going retreat quantity lambda of the torque pin 12.
