Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a method enabling extraction of an organic substance soluble in only either one of a polar solvent or a nonpolar solvent by one time operation without using a halogenated carbon. CONSTITUTION:A heater 11 having a temperature-controlling mechanism is generated by applying electricity thereto and then kept to a prescribed temperature. A Petri dish 13 made of glass for boiling a sample 15 is put on the heater 11 and the sample 15 cut or broken into proper size is put in the Petri dish 13. Then, a mixed solvent 14 of acetone (a polar organic solvent) with hexane (a nonpolar organic solvent) in an amount enough to immerse the sample 15 therein is put in the Petri dish 13 and the sample 15 is heated and eluted at a definite temperature for a definite time. After the lapse of a definite time, the sample 15 is taken out from the Petri dish 13 for boiling the sample 15 and the sample 15 is further heated. When an amount of the solvent 14 in the Petri dish 13 for boiling the sample 15 is gradually decreased, the contents are transferred into a vessel made of ceramic and the solvent is completely removed at an ordinary temperature. After removing the solvent, an organic substance which is a material to be extracted is taken out. |
