Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent overheating, overcooling and stress corrosion crack of an iron shell and to prolong the life of the iron shell by packing a margin part exclusive of a protective pipe of an optical fiber for monitoring temp. extended around the outer periphery of the iron shell with a heat insulating material having a thermal conductivity and covering the outside surface thereof with an external iron shell. CONSTITUTION:The margin part of the iron shell 4 where the protective pipe 7 built in an optical fiber thermometer 6 extended in multiple stages around the outer periphery of the iron shell 4 does not exist is closely coated with the heat insulating material 5 having a thickness 10 to 20mm equal to the outside diameter of the protective pipe 7 and the thermal conductivity lambda=0.10 to 0.20Kcal/m.h. deg.C. Further, the outside surfaces of the heat insulating material 5 and the protective pipe 7 are coated with the external shell 8. The part where the protective pipe 7 not exists is packed at the thickness of the heat insulating material obtd. by adding the thickness of the heat insulating material for prohibiting the fluctuation in the atm. temp. enough to prohibit the fluctuation in the atmosphere in the protective pipe in addition to the thickness corresponding to the outside diameter of the protective pipe 7 at the time of coating the heat insulating material 5. Simultaneously, the part of the protective pipe 7 is preferably subjected to coating at the thickness of the heat insulating material for prohibiting the fluctuation in the atm. temp. |
