Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a system which facilitates the improvement of the utilization of the installation space, wiring equipment, etc., while inverters can be applied to general purposes and, further, which is excellent in respect of function and maintenance. CONSTITUTION:A converter unit 1 and a dynamic brake unit 2 are provided in common. A number of inverter units 111-1N are composed of main circuits 11A and controllers 11B which have minimum necessary circuits for the control and protection of the main circuits 11A. Various types of monitoring, controlling and setting functions and a control power supply are provided in a master controller 13 and the signal transmission and the control power supply distribution between the master controller 13 and the respective inverter modules are realized by bus connections composed of bus-bars 13A.
