Summary: | PURPOSE:To reduce size and weight and to reduce a cost by a method wherein a casing forms integral single structure and the inner surface of a casing is covered with a film containing a plurality of components of Ni, Cr and the like. CONSTITUTION:In a boiler water feed pump, water sucked through the suction port 2 of a casing 1 is boosted by an impeller 4 coupled to a main shaft 3 for mutual rotation and discharged to a diffuser 5 arranged on the outer periphery of the impeller 4. The water flows in a stage 6 arranged on the outer periphery of the diffuser 5, an out flow is changed into an in flow by means of a stage 6, and the water is guided to an impeller 4 at a next stage. In following, a boosting process is repeated to pressurize water, which is discharged through a discharge port 7. In this case, a casing form single structure and further a low cost low carbon steel is used. To improve corrosion resistance and erosion resistance of the casing, the inner side of the casing is covered with a film containing at least two components of Ni, Co, Mo, Si, B, Al, and Fe by a flame spraying method. |
