Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the overflow of an original liquid by detecting the position to which a filtrate falls from a screen and the filtered quantity by a filtrate detector and controlling the feed quantity of the original liquid. CONSTITUTION:Outside of one end of a screen 2, that is, outside of an opening for discharging impurities, an impurity discharge chute 21 is provided, fexedly to a cover 4. A cover 22 for receiving a filtrate is formed in a part covering the screen 2 from below the cover 4. A partition wall is installed between the cover 22 and the impurity discharge chute 21. Filtrate discharge ports 27, 28 are formed in the lowest regions of the 1st and 2nd filtrate receiving parts 25, 26 and connected to a filtrate discharge port 31 through filtrate discharge pipes 29, 30, respectively. The filtrate discharge pipe 30 connected to the filtrate discharge port 28 of the 2nd filtrate receiving part 26 is provided with a filtrate detector 32 for detecting the flow rate of the filtrate. Then, the detector 32 is connected to an alarm 33 device ahead to give an alarm for furthering the control of filtration to a superintendent. Thus, the loaded condition of the screen is recognized.
