PURPOSE:To simplify a constitution by eliminating a storage device for file storage and an error detection part by performing a data transmission of the file data from a data transmission terminal to each distribution transmission destination terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a file transfer instruction is transmitted from a transmission terminal 103 to a multi-spot data transfer device 102, the distribution response means 204 of the device 102 recognizes the terminal 103 and transmits this instruction to reception terminals 104 and 105 via a transmission buffer 203 and a line control part 201. The reception terminals 104 and 105 receiving this deliver normal reception responses to the reception monitoring means 205 of the device 102. The means 205 receiving this transmits a file transfer request to the terminal 103 via the means 204. As a result, file data is simply distributed by the means 204 of the device 102 and the data is transferred to the terminals 104 and 105. Thus, because the data from the terminal 103 is transmitted to plural other terminals in the means 204, a storage device for file storage and an error detection part performing a complicated calculation in short time can be eliminated in the device 102.
