Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce an offset and an offset drift without increasing the minimum operating power supply voltage in an operational amplifier operated at a low power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:Transistors Q1, Q2 are used at the differential input stage 2 of the operational amplifier as differential input, and the collectors of the transistors Q1, Q2 are connected to the bases of VPHP transistors Q6, Q7 arranged symmetrically. Moreover, the collector currents of the transistors Q1, Q2 can be set equal by employing circuit configuration so as to set the collector potential Vc1, Vc2 of the transistors Q1, 02 equally, which reduces the offset.
