Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of oil, etc., and moreover inexpensively manufacture a connector having simple structure by integrally constituting a pressure contact terminal and connector housing by insert-molding. CONSTITUTION:A pressure contact terminal 23 is insert-molded integrally with a connector housing 22 in a connector 21. The housing 22 is formed on a fitting part 24 opened for fitting one side end part, the front of the housing 22, to a mating connector, and the electric joint 23a of the pressure contact terminal 23 is protruded in the fitting part 24. The other side end part, a back, is formed on a connection part 25 for connecting a wire 31, the cable connection part 23b of the terminal 23 is exposed, and the standing wall 23g of the cable connection part 23b is provided in an airtight condition together with the housing 22. Moreover, the connector 21 is formed so that the synthetic resin material of the housing 22 can enter into a groove 23e, provided on the locking part 23d of the terminal 23, to retain the terminal 23 in a condition where forming material is locked to the locking part 23d. However in the connector 21, the flow of the synthetic resin material into the connection part 23b is prevented in a condition where the synthetic resin is blocked by the standing wall 23g.
