Summary:PURPOSE:To execute the preceding service when down-loading of program data is not normally made to an EEPROM by executing a program in other memory when a result of down-loading of the program is abnormally finished to one selected memory. CONSTITUTION:Two EEPROMs 11, 12 storing program data to realize various service functions are provided in a terminal equipment 1. When program data are normally loaded in the EEPROM, the program is read and a new service is executed, and when the program is not normally loaded, the preceding program stored in the other EEPROM is read to continue the execution of the service. That is, the CPU 10 controls the EEPROM changeover section and executes the program in the EEPROM 12 when the 1st program is loaded into, e.g. the EEPROM 11 and the loading result indicates abnormity.
