Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a bleacher composition which does not emit a foreign odor even when stored for a long time under high-temperature conditions by mixing an oxygenous peroxide with a specified bleaching activator and a specified compound under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:This bleacher composition is the one comprising an oxtgenous peroxide (e.g. sodium percarbonate), a bleaching activator (A) represented by the formula (wherein R1 is a 2-20C hydrocarbon group which may be substituted; R2 is H or a lower alkyl; R3 is a bivalent hydrocarbon group; and M is H or a counter ion forming a salt) and at least one member (B) selected from among an inorganic chloride, paratoluenesulfonic acid or its alkali metal salt (e.g. NaCl), wherein the B/A weight ratio is (0.0001-0.05)/1, and the components A and B are granulated with a binder (e.g. polyethylene glycol).
