Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent print data from being lost by disconnecting power supply after all data to be printed in a storage of a printer is printed. CONSTITUTION:An input controller 14 always monitors commands from a host unit 26, if it is a print command, stores the print command and print data delivered from the host unit 26 sequentially in a storage means 16, or if it is a power supply disconnect command, stores control data corresponding to the power supply disconnect command in the last of print data stored in the storage means 16. An output controller 18 takes out those data stored in the storage means 16 sequentially, if the data are print data, process them sequentially, or if the data are control data corresponding to the power supply disconnect command, delivers a power supply disconnect command to the main power supply controller 20.
