Summary:PURPOSE:To turn on and off a printer connected with a host unit by a polling system, interlocking the printer with the host unit. CONSTITUTION:When a printer 10 is in an on state, even if a predetermined time has elapsed, unless a command is sent from a host unit, the printer 10 is turned off automatically on the assumption that the host unit 30 is turned off. When the printer 10 is in an off condition, if a command is sent from the host unit 30, the printer 10 is turned on automatically on the assumption that the host unit is turned on.
