Summary: | PURPOSE:To produce stably and efficiently a thermoplastic resin film having good thickness uniformity by using an electrode equipped with a projection capable of corona discharge, the end part of which is made of a material with a specified specific resistance, and applying a high voltage to the electrode. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin selected from among polyamides, polyesters, etc., is melt extruded into a film. The film is then taken up while being solidified by rapid cooling with the film contacted closely with a rotary cooling roll by applying static electricity. An electrode is used which is equipped with one or more projections capable of corona discharge and at least the end part of which is made of a material with a specific resistance of 5muOMEGA.cm or less. The material of the electrode is selected from among silver, copper, gold, aluminum, magnesium, etc., and alloys or composite metals thereof. A high voltage of direct current is applied to the electrodes to charge the molten film. |
