PURPOSE:To provide a vessel in which assembling work inside the vessel is sharply reduced, the manufacture of temp. control elements and the integrating work of them into the vessel are efficiently performed, and also maintenance work needing labor almost the same as that of an ordinary maintenance work inside vessel is sufficient. CONSTITUTION:Partition plates are provided on the outer surface of an inner cylinder at right angles in parallel at intervals, and an outer strip is provided straddling between the tips of the partition plates, and between the inner cylinder and the outer strip, temp. control element 5A, 5B having a flow passage for a heating medium or a cooling medium are formed. The temp. control elements 5A, 5B are fixed in a vessel body 1 at intervals with their outer strip side opposite to the inner surface of the vessel body 1. The clearance between the temp. control elements 5A, 5B and the inner surface of the vessel body 1 are made a closed chamber 14 isolated from the inside of the vessel. Further, it is preferable that the closed chamber 14 between the inner surface of the vessel body 1 and the temp. control elements 5A, 5B, and the vessel body 1 are made to communicate with each other by a pressure balance mechanism.
