Summary:PURPOSE:To continuously carry out adsorption on/desorption from an adsorbent and at the same time effectively carry out the adsorption by the adsorbent and desorption/reproduction of the adsorbent in an adsorbing apparatus such as a dehumidifier, etc. CONSTITUTION:An object gas to be treated is reciprocally supplied to and discharged out of chambers 2, 3 filled with a pressure swinging-type adsorbent 7 by a four-way switching valves 6, 6a to carry out adsorption in one chamber and desorption from/reproduction of the adsorbent in the other chamber. A Peltier element 4 is installed wherein the element cools the chamber where adsorption is carried out and heats the chamber where desorption from/ reproduction of the adsorbent is carried out.
