Summary:PURPOSE:To automatically prepare a working master for performing the various kinds of working to sheet metal parts while using an NC machine. CONSTITUTION:The respective faces of parts are made correspondent to the respective cell numbers of a matrix, the shape and dimension of a working hole (such as a punch or a tap) on each face and the coordinates from an origin to the center of the working hole on the face are inputted by a working command (S1), the central coordinate of the working hole from the substrate origin is calculated and automatically extended on the substrate according to the face dimensions of instructed X and Y directions and the dimension of shrinkage caused by bending calculated from a bending kind by the master from the input information for the unit of each cell corresponding to the automatic extending command, the outer dimension of the substrate is automatically calculated (S2) by fetching the dimension of shrinkage caused by bending from the face dimensions of the instructed X and Y directions and the kind of bending, the working hole protruded from the outer substrate shape is checked from the outer substrate shape and the central coordinate of the working hole from the substrate origin, and it is checked wether the working hole is protruding or not inside each face (S3).
