Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an idle adjuster wherein when a part to support the adjuster is broken, only change of only the broken part suffices for operation. CONSTITUTION:A lever 15 is arranged integrally rotatably with a butterfly valve 12. A containing part 32 and a recessed part 33 are formed in a support part 31 fixed to a carburetor body. An adjuster 21 is displaceable arranged at a support part 31 and a nut 28 mounted in a screwed-in state on the adjuster 21 is engaged with the containing part 32. An O-ring 41 is disposed in the recessed part 33. The adjuster 21 is energized through the force of a spring 42 in a direction in which the nut 28 is brought into contact with the support part 31. Through the force of a twist spring 25 wound around the shaft 13 of the butterfly valve 12, the lever 15 is brought into contact with the adjuster 21 during idling.
