PURPOSE:To provide a click feeling and to make it possible to vertically maintain a handle by providing a projection at the handle and providing a lock part for locking the projection at rising part so as to freely engage/de-engage it and for blocking engagement/de-engagement in a forward inclining direction at the handle hinge part of a main body ring. CONSTITUTION:The rice cooker is provided with a main body 1 internally provided with an inner pot 4, main body ring 2 fixed at the upper part of the main body 1 and provided with handle hinge parts 2a at the right and left sides and a lid hinge part 2b at the rear part, handle 3 which both terminals are fitted to the handle hinge parts 2a so as to freely rotate them, and lid 5 pivotally supported to the lid hinge part 2b. In this case, projections 6 are provided at both the terminals of the handle 3 and further, a lock part 7 composed of a projection 7a to lock the projection 6 so as to freely engage/de- engage it at the rising time of the handle 3 and a projection 7b for blocking the engagement/de-engagement in the forward inclining direction is projected at the handle hinge part 2b of the main body ring 2. At the rising time of the handle 3, the projections 6 of the handle 3 are locked to a recessed part 7c between both the projections 7a and 7b.
