Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive optical fiber line switching device which is provided with a self-holding function for holding an optical fiber line in a switched state and whose structure is simple and miniaturized. CONSTITUTION:This optical fiber line switching device is provided with a butting member 2 having plural holding grooves 2a holding one-end sides of many optical fibers 8, and a switching means 5 having a guide member 3 driven by a feed screw and moving a single fiber 7 in the arraying direction of many holding grooves by a specified length and a cam member 4 attached to the feed screw, bending one-end side of the single fiber in the holding groove and actuating it to ascend/descend in the holding groove, and, the single fiber is switched to be connected to an optional optical fiber out of many optical fibers.
