Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a prepreg having excellent strength and thermal conductivity by passing a laminated sheet obtained by placing reinforcing fibers arrange in a sheet shape on the side coated with a thermoset resin of e.g. a film, between a pair of running belts to make the thermoset resin impregnate. CONSTITUTION:A thermoset resin (preferably, an epoxy resin) is coated on a film supported by a releasing sheet. A laminated sheet obtained by placing reinforcing fibers arranged in a sheet shape on the side coated with the thermoset resin is passed between a pair of running belts (preferably, mesh-type belts) which contact with each other or are arranged with a specified space, to impregnate the thermoset resin into the reinforcing fibers or between them to obtain the objective prepreg. Preferably, the surface of the prepreg sheet is smoothed by a pair of heating rolls having smooth surfaces optionally followed by cooling.
