CONSTITUTION:A netlike body having a regular mesh pattern is pressed against the surface of a long-sized body made of a composite material consisting of reinforcing fibers and an uncured or semicured thermosetting resin, the thermosetting resin is cured and then the netlike body is peeled off to produce the objective reinforcing material with protrusions 2 formed in a regular mesh pattern on the surface of a long-sized body 1 made of a fiber reinforced resin composite material.
