PURPOSE:To enhance the exchange efficiency of heat with a temperature-adjusted temperature control medium by forming an uneven surface at least, on an area coming into contact with paint on an innermost arranged wall, in a paint storage device which is designed so as to inhibit a charge in the temperature of the paint. CONSTITUTION:If a temperature-controlled water feeder pump is driven, a temperature- controlled water W stored in a temperature-controlled tank is supplied to the temperature-controlled storage area 14 of each paint tank 10, and after circulating around properly, the water is returned to the temperature-controlled tank. During this period, the heat is properly exchanged between the temperature-controlled water W supplied to the temperature-controlled storage area 14 and the paint P in the paint tank 10, and the paint P is maintained at an optimal temperature for coating. In addition, the heat exchange between the temperature-controlled water W and the paint P is performed through the inner wall 11 of the paint tank 10. However, in this coating equipment, an uneven wavy part 11a is formed on the inner wall 11 of the paint tank 10. Therefore, a contact area between the inner wall 11 and the temperature-controlled water W as well as between the paint P and either of the former is increased as much as possible.
