Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a function of panning and zooming economically in order to display a portrait image received from a camera in the center of a window with ease of observation with respect to the window display control method for a video communication terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:In a motion picture frame memory control part for a window display device displaying a digital video image onto a personal computer or a work station, a read start address designation part 8 designates a read start address on a frame memory under the control of a system control part 10 to read digital video data at an optional address in the motion picture frame memory part 4. The group window display controller is provided with plural frame memory control parts, a system control part, a picture element data arbitration part and a display control signal generating part and the display control signal generating part is provided with a means setting its area depending on a display position of a group window.
