Summary:PURPOSE:To dispense with welding work or bonding work without employing fastening parts. CONSTITUTION:In cover fixing structure in an automobile interior equipment installing part, a speaker installing part 3 is arranged at a rear quarter trim in a cabin, while a boss pin 7 for cover installation is arranged at the speaker installing part 3. When no speaker is to be installed, a special-form hole 8 is arranged in a cover main body 5a for covering the speaker installing part 3. By inserting the boss pin 7 into the special-form hole 8, the inner peripheral edge of the special-form hole 8 is deformed elastically, so that the cover main body 5a can be fixed to the speaker installing part 3.
