Summary:PURPOSE:To improve reinforcing effect of cement, mortar, etc., by forming a ring-shaped projection part composed of a resin on the surface of a sticky material containing a reinforcing short fiber bundle arranged in one direction and a resin matrix. CONSTITUTION:A filament bundle 1' having arranged 100-50,000 single filaments in one direction is passed from a bobbin 4 through a matrix resin 5 in a resin tank 6 and impregnated with the uncured liquid matrix resin 5 to give a filament bundle 1'b impregnated with the resin. The filament bundle 1'b is passed through a pair of rolls 7 and 7' having dented channels 7a and 7'a extending in the width direction of the rolls, a precursor 3a of a ring-shaped projection part is formed on the surface of the filament bundle 1'b and sent to a curing furnace 8 to form a ring-shaped projection part 3c. The filament bundle 1'b is forcedly cooled by a cooler 9 and cut into 10-300mm by a cutter 11.
