Summary:PURPOSE:To securely execute a quick call at a mobile telephone set for a long term by controlling a system for impressing voltage lower than discharge termination voltage after charging is completed and preventing the deterioration of a characteristic owing to excessive discharge through the use of a lithium ion battery. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed charge voltage and current from the plus charge terminal 8 of a slave machine 1 are supplied to the lithium ion secondary battery 5 through the fordward direction of a diode for backflow prevention D1, and the lithium ion secondary battery 5 is charged. Voltage lower than the discharge termination voltage of the lithium ion secondary battery 5 is impressed from a power source part 16 through a diode for backflow prevention D2 and a current limiter resistor R1 after the lithium ion secondary battery 5 is charged. A control part 4 in the slave machine 1 judges two voltage, and recognizes a state where the slave machine 1 is loaded on a charge stand 10. When the slave machine 1 is taken up from the charge stand 10, the control part 4 in the slave machine 1 judges the stop of voltage impressed on the plus charge terminal 8, and controls the quick call making a response to call start or to an incoming call.
