Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the device which generates no color unevenness on the display screen when the CRT is rotated by detecting the rotation of the CRT and automatically performing demagnetization when the detected quantity of the rotation exceeds a specific value. CONSTITUTION:When the CRT is rotated, pulses whose number is proportional to the angle of rotation are inputted to a counter 32, which counts them. When the counter 32 generates an overflow signal, the inverse of Q of a flip-flop 33 goes down to a low level and the trigger signal with the ON state of a degaussing switch 5 is inputted to a control means 20. Consequently, the control means 20 asserts a driving signal supplied to a degaussing means 19, which means 19 degausses the CRT. When the driving signal is asserted, the counter 32 and flip-flop 33 are initialized. The pattern of a conductor part is so set that the angle of rotation of the CRT when the counter 32 overflows is, for example, 45 deg..
