Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a herbicide composition exhibiting a high effect against Echinochloa crusyalli oryzicola which is a strongly injurious weed in paddy fields, especially against even the fairly grown weed by the synergistic effect of active ingredients, expanding a suitable width for treating the Echinochloa crusyalli oryzicola, and reducing the effective amount of the agent. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition contains (A) a compound selected from a carbamate derivative of formula I [A is group of formula II or III (X is halogen, 1-4C haloalkyl); B is group of formula IV (R is H, 1-4C alkyl; R is R , 1-4C haloalkyl; R is 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C haloalkyl, phenyl)] and an amide derivative of formula V [C is group of formula VI or VII (Y is X); D is group of formula 4.15 VIII (R is R ; R is H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C acyl; R is H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C haloalkyl)], and (B) a compound selected from 12 kinds of compounds consisting of benzosulfuron-methyl, pyrazosulfuron-ethyl, imazosulfuron, sinosulfuron, pyrazolate, benzofenap, naproanilide, chlomeprop, MCPB, 2,4-D and MCPA.
