Summary:PURPOSE:To ensure smooth traveling of a wheel, without any wear of the wheel. CONSTITUTION:A sorting device 30 is provided with a track 31 consisting of one piece of rail made up of both a horizontal part 33 and a vertical part 34 and another one piece of rail made up of the horizontal part 33 only. The device 30 is also provided with a main wheel 44 which is set to the carriage frame 43 of a cart 32 equipped with tray 41 and a tilting device 42 for the tray 41 and which travels on the upper surface of the horizontal part 33 of the track 31, following the frame 43 and in the same direction as the traveling direction of the frame 43. In addition, the sorting device 30 is provided with a sub-wheel 45, which is placed, facing the bottom of the main wheel 44 and which travels, while pressing the bottom surface of the horizontal part 33 of the track 31 from the lower part, a guide wheel 46, which travels, while pressing the vertical part of the track 31 from both sides, and a driving device for running the cart 32.
